Sometimes, though not nearly often enough, I wander into businesses, some of which have NO SOLICITING signs posted prominently, and I introduce myself as Boise’s #2 storyteller, wedding officiant, and mobile notary. It’s a great ice breaker, and most people want to know, who’s #1? Honestly, I have no idea who’s #1, but I don’t want to get cocky. After all, I’ve only performed one notarization, and if I decide to actually pursue officiating, I’m probably better off focusing on starter weddings.
I’ve met a lot of people in a wide variety of enterprises, but of all the companies I’ve wandered into, Perspective Wealth Partners is the most memorable. That’s because they remembered me. And they invited me to perform The Andy Story, even though none of them knows who Andy is.
This is kind of what it sounded like, but with an audience and better audio/video synchronization.
